When the two congregations of South Shore Baptist Church and Redemption Church made the decision to come together as one body in 2019, they required a new logo that reflected their past in addition to the future ahead.

I began by designing logo concepts in the style of badges, clean and geometric. I also created a few water-themed variations which tie back to the location and name of the church.

Ultimately, the new logo reflected the original Redemption brand, while staying true to the South Shore name. The church leadership had grown fond of the Redemption colors and requested that the color palette remain in use for this new logo.

The primary logo ended up being a very horizontal-oriented design, so I enjoyed coming up with alternate logo options and vertical designs that could be used on social media.
